As a writer and game master with over six years experience, I craft narrative rich adventures set in vibrant lived-in worlds. I love learning and running new games and can present new rules to first-time players in simple and understandable terms. If you have a game system you want to play and can’t find a group, I’d be happy to learn it and run it for you! At the end of the day, I’m passionate about playing games with cool people and enjoy the stories we build together!

Had an amazing time playing my first tabletop game! Kylan made everything easy to follow, fun, and really engaging. Thanks for making it such a memorable experience!
My wife and I decided to try Daggerheart. We’ve never played but had wanted to try. Kylans one shot was an excellent mixture of learning how to play and simply enjoying the game. It was so much fun and we look forward to the next one.
We had a great time learning Daggrheart with Kylan. Our group are D&D novices, and just wanted to try something a bit different. He presents the rules in a straightforward manner that makes it easy to understand and jump right in. We
are thinking of booking again to try a new system.
I’m new to tabletop gaming and most of the games I’ve played have been with Kylan as the GM. He has made the experience engaging and fun, and has been very patient as I have learned (and re-learned) DnD mechanics as well as in introducing me to other games. Kylan’s stories and characters are also always great, and he has never failed to make me crack up laughing at least once every game.
I’ve had the joy of playing under Kylan’s GMing in five different TTRPG systems over the past five years: D&D, Daggerheart, Dragonbane, Monster of the Week, and Blades in the Dark. He’s led us on all sorts of different adventures, but the consistent elements have always been his fantastic storycrafting and worldbuilding skills, his ability to make learning the rules unintimidating to new players, and his commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the table. He’s created memories for us that’ll be with us for the rest of our lives and introduced us to so many worlds that I’m honestly a bit sad I can’t move to IRL (although visiting them once or twice a month is a great consolation prize). It’s a great privilege to be able to explore the vast landscapes of his imagination. On a less sweeping note, another thing that makes Kylan’s games so immersive is how well he embodies the NPCs. This skill of his really helps encourage roleplay, too; it’s easy to overcome shyness with RPing when the characters feel so natural to interact with, and having their personalities so interesting and distinct from one another makes you really WANT to interact with them even if you do have a barrier like that. And speaking of barriers, he’s excellent about honoring boundaries and seeking out/responding to player feedback. Those are things that could get easily overlooked at another table, but they go a long way toward making sure everyone feels respected and comfortable.
I could keep going on about all the ways Kylan is a top-tier GM, but wouldn’t it be more fun to find them out for yourself? =-P
