Jaxon Dick

Jaxon introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons, and is responsible for my loving it today. Our campaigns have been full of dramatic turns and heart pounding combat. Jaxon was able to bring me in as a first time player who felt unsure of what I was doing, guiding me through playing my first character, a sorcerer. Rarely did they need a double check in the players handbook to tell me about my spells and how they worked. Jaxon has always been a font of knowledge on 5e and knows the wording of just about every rule. Of course, only knowing the rules, and not how to use them to craft a good story is useless. I would not have years of campaigns with Jaxon if I hadn’t been so enthralled by the stories they’ve told. Maybe I could have redeemed Strahd that night in the cold castle in the fog if the party had stayed…

Jaxon is a wonderful story teller. Between pushing the narrative along or dropping subtle hints through NPC dialogue. Jaxon is constantly studying 5e to make the most out of every play session. Jaxon will often try unique cases out on their own characters when playing to prep things for other campaigns they are DM’ing. A true student of the game. Jaxon has also always been able to work with players in order to make unique character facets that make the player feel important and special without ruining the campaign experience for others.

Jaxon was my DM for a weekly/bi weekly campaign for almost two years. Their charisma and creativity made all the difference, especially when working with folks who have already played and folks brand new to the game. When we needed a break or couldn’t get everyone together, Jaxon had one-shots ready to go so we could make the most of our meet up. Highly recommend Jaxon 😊
