Hello adventurers! I'm James, & I cant wait to be your game master.

I've been playing D&D for around 6 years now, and I've been a DM the whole time. My DM style can best be described as roleplay centric, comedy driven, and player focused. I'm light on combat, heavy on the goofs! With me as your GM, you'll be brought into high-fantasy, low-stakes, big-feelings adventures where you get to be the center of attention.

I have experience GMing for a LARP summer camp (Trefoil Academy), kids & teens at the library, & adults in my personal games. I love playing with kids & those new to the game - watching someone learn to love TTRPGs is my favorite thing. I'm here to help you learn, so whether you've never played, or only played previous editions, or anything else, I'm ready to teach.

When not playing D&D, I work part time in a daycare & babysit on the side. Hobby wise, I enjoy drawing, crafting, writing (especially poems), fashion, & axe throwing.

James is amazing at storytelling and building a world in atmosphere that is immersive and inviting to players. James is really good at blending both moments of tension and seriousness with lighthearted comedy and player shenanigans in a way that feels seamless and natural. They are also very willing to breakdown rules when need be and provide good refreshers on mechanics. This has been helpful as someone who has a disability! I’ve never felt afraid to ask questions or for clarification.

James is fun to play with, happy to tell a story with you, and even willing to bend the textbook rules here and there to give player their big moment. they’re quite willing to hear out both what you want for your character, as well as your own boundaries as a player.
