Now is the time to brave the dark wood, beware the witching hour, and weave your own dreadful folktale as you attempt to rescue a damned civilation caught between life and death, all under the watchful smile of the Crooked Moon.
This campaign brings Folk Horror to fifth edition DnD in a haunting game you’ll never forget, drawing inspiration from grim folklore, legendary horror films, and classic Halloween aesthetics.
Content Warnings. The Crooked Moon contains elements of graphic and gory violence, depictions of mental health issues, cultural and religious conflict, endangerment of children and animals, grotesque body horror, family trauma, allusions to suicide, and more.
About the Game Master
I started DnD the way many did lately, through BG3. Since then, I’ve put nearly all my hyperfocus into learning and developing my passion and story telling. I focus on running modules (particularly Curse of Strahd) as the bones for my personal spins. I encourage role play and am known to say things such as “I’m not positive that’s how that works but that’s a really cool idea so let’s do it” when DMing. I love to teach and celebrate your wins as you learn your character sheet along with you. So long story short, newbie or veteran, if you’re looking for a DM straight out of warped tour 2002, I’m your match.
