Giants have shattered the peace of the North.

In the wake of the shattered Ordening—a divine hierarchy among giantkind—chaos reigns. Hill giants bloat themselves on stolen grain, fire giants forge devastating weapons, and frost giants raid coastal towns like icy storms. With the All-Father’s decree broken, each giant lord seeks to rise above the others, uncaring of the destruction left in their wake.

In this storm of ambition and ruin, small folk stand on the brink of annihilation.

Heroes must rise from the scattered villages and battered cities of the Sword Coast, traveling from the windswept highlands to the icy seas. As they uncover ancient runes, hidden truths, and buried powers, they’ll find allies in unlikely places—cloud giants in flying castles, storm sorcerers of old, even dragons with grudges to settle.

At the heart of the storm stands King Hekaton, the missing ruler of the storm giants. His disappearance has unbalanced all, and only by uncovering his fate can order be restored.

Storm King’s Thunder is a tale of titanic conflict, where mortals must defy fate, challenge gods, and confront giants to save the realm from crumbling under the thunder of war.

About the Game Master

Dm of about 20 years of experience who enjoys using home brew more then the rules as written. One of my favorite campaigns is always going to be Storm King’s Thunder. I might add more here if i can think of it, though if you want to bribe me at a game bring black licorice….
