🎁 Something Strange Is Happening in Dullhaven

The once cheerful town of Dullhaven has turned gray, silent, and unsettling. Critmas decorations droop like they have lost the will to sparkle. Adults shuffle through the streets with empty eyes. And the worst part: there are no children anywhere.

Something is devouring joy. Something is calling to the young. And something in the snowy tundra is waiting for heroes bold enough to follow the trail.

This is where you come in.

❄️ What This One Shot Delivers

  • A fast paced 2.5 hour Dungeons and Dragons adventure with a short break built in

  • Uses the 2024 5E rules

  • Level 6 characters provided or bring your own if you prefer

  • A festive mystery mixed with just the right amount of weird

  • A trek into an icy cave where magic gets twisted in holiday flavored ways

  • A final showdown with a joy devouring villain who has very strong opinions about laughter

  • A mix of humor, combat, and creative problem solving

This is a standalone adventure. No prep required.

About the Game Master

Chris “DastardlyDrave” Swallow, has been a professional GM for over 4 years and has been playing and GM’ing for 30 years, starting with AD&D 2nd Edition!

A Critical Role fan from the early days of the live stream, he is heavily influenced by Matt Mercer’s GM style and works to create a cooperative storytelling experience focusing on all the players at the table.  Roleplaying styles from comedy, puns, and a general love of alliteration, to sweeping arcs of high fantasy and epic battles; he does his best to balance players of all types and skills.

He specializes in creating an immersive environment with voices, sound effects, props, digital and physical battlemaps, and fantastical homebrew creatures and items.  A theatre kid from the way back, he tries to make the game an experience worth coming back for!

If you’re looking for a game from first time players all the way to experienced players with a heavy focus on the Rule of Cool; look no further!
