About the Game

Session Length: 2.5 -
3 hours

Deep in the heart of the Shattered Empire, between the borders of the Elmheart Forest to the west and the Thunderbore Mountains to the east, lies the ruins of what was once the capital of the most powerful nation in Teramoor since the empire of the old world. Once the jewel of the burgeoning empire, the city of Novalice lies in ruins as a reminder that the Rupturing not only brought magic back to the world, but it also destroyed the homes and lands of many peoples. Abandoned and crumbling, the ruins of Novalice are considered cursed by locals and have thus never been repopulated, left to rot with the dream of the empire.

At least for the locals this is true, but for adventurers like yourself this ruined city is a gold mine of treasures, relics, enchanted items, and much more for those ambitious enough to go looking. You and a party of such ambitious, or desperate, adventurers has learned that a relic of the ancient world may have been lost in the old city, a tome which contained the ancient art of creating golems. Before it was just a historical piece, but with magic back its value is incalculable. You and your band of adventurers are set to delve into the Trost Historium Arcanus, an old museum to what was lost magic at the time, and find the resting place of the tome of golemcrafting.

Beware though, as you are not the only ones lurking in this dead city, and the return of magic means things in this museum are not as they once were. Those willing to delve ruins in search of lost magic, here are some things to know about this session:

  • Pregenerated characters to choose from will be provided, so you dont have to make any characters
  • Miniatures to use for your Player Characters
  • Dice to roll the night away (bring your own special number rocks if you desire)
  • Take advantage of burger mondays, featuring any signature half-pound burger for around $10.99 all day

Please note: RGM does not provide refunds nor do we allow transfers for one shot events.

About the Game Master

Hey yall – Im Zach A, better known as the Goofin GM, a story teller who enjoys building worlds with his players and weaving sagas and memories that players will retell far after the session is done.

I am a strong proponent of everyone having their time to shine while on their grand adventure with new and old companions. For this reason I not only enjoy making worlds for players, but more so working with players to build a backstory and goal that can be woven into the story, allowing players to explore their character in a fantastical world while allowing other players to be a part of these grand moments. If it is either having your changeling being chased across a city floating in space evading assassins from a past you are running from or your a half-orc raised by halflings wishing to try every meat and flora in the world to make the greatest dishes, your story will have a place here and i will personally love to be a part of telling it with you.

When it comes to how I DM, these are some key points:

Noob-Friendly: I have quite a bit of experience working with new players and always encourage anyone wanting to try this great game to come out and roll them dice.

Improv Good: I believe the best moments are when creativity and imagination combine, so I encourage creative thinking and problem solving.

World Building: I am a firm supporter of homebrew worlds, and love to share them with players who can engage it at their pace, whether they just wanna roll dice or want to be deeply involved in the lore.

I aim for each session to be fun, character driven, and full of memorable moments, be it of hilarity, thrilling, or dramatic. My hope is to have each player feel that they enjoyed their time and are ready for the next round.
