A stubby-legged kobold with a sandwich-board sign and a paper mache dragon head ironically over his own beckons you to join the tour. A handful of confused and curious people are already waiting ahead of you for the tour to start. The tour guide, another friendly little kobold, elbows your coinpurse and points at the gift shop with a wink. A Dragonborn waits there, smiling a great toothy smile, surrounded by trinkets, potions, and cheap faux oddities.
Screams and laughter echo from an open door nearby with a spiral staircase leading downward behind it. “Just a few more minutes for the next tour! Take a look while you still can!” the scaly shopkeeper motions you over.
More shrieks echo out as it dawns on you that you don’t know where the exit door would be, from this path down that leads into the mountainside. And nobody has come out yet, and it’s almost your turn…
