1st dnd Campaign

I went into this with almost no experience playing the game and tre made it so fun and welcoming. I looked forward to every session and grew so much. He has so much knowledge about the game and made sure we all had a great time.
He was… EPIC!

Just finished up a (roughly) half-year-long campaign with Tre at the helm and had an absolute blast!! Going into it, our table, inspired by the musical “Epic,” requested a campaign with Greek mythology vibes, and I’d say he more than delivered. Our wishes were granted as he provided us with a tale of gods, champions, and the mystery of an oncoming calamity that we needed to thwart.
Some of my favorite moments as a moon druid involved:
– Turning into an ape and yoinking a cursed sword out of the hands of an important NPC, completely derailing an entire plot thread (in the best way).
– Turning into a dinosaur and, thanks to lucky dice rolls, almost single-handedly maiming what was essentially the BBEG halfway through the campaign.
– Turning into a spider-covered dinosaur to KO that same BBEG two more times during the final battle.
– Fulfilling my lifelong dream of becoming Spider-Man.
The best part though? Despite all the shenanigans, Tre kept everything cohesive while engaging with our silly little antics, making the campaign an absolute delight from start to finish! The story and environment he created served to satisfy the curiosity of the two new players at the table, who ended up adoring D&D, while also giving the more experienced players a big ol’ satisfying playground full of adventure, roleplay, and combat!
Tre gets 5/5 stars from me!
I’ll miss playing Eros tremendously. :’) Would definitely serve the Silver Prince again!
A GM for players of all skill and stories
May 21, 2025
I’ve been playing with Crow as my GM for about 7 or 8 years at this point, and he truly makes this game feel like home. Be it a one-shot as a barbarian fairy, a long-term campaign as a tiefling cleric to a dead goddess, or even just pitching character ideas to explore characters with chronic pain, favorite tropes, or even anime characters, he listens openly and works with his players to make the game not only fun and fair, but make sense as to how it works in the game and the world.
He truly goes above and beyond in his worldbuilding and makes his players feel like they are a part of the world rather than just characters exploring a setting.
He makes sure his players are heard and have the support they need to explore their stories and contribute to a larger narrative, all while having an encyclopedic knowledge of mechanics and game workings that takes away the roadbumps of looking up rules for a specific action. When there aren’t mechanics for something a player wants to do, he invents a way to do it that fits the world, rules, and flow of the game and the interests of the players.
Truly the best GM I’ve ever had, and I look forward to every session.
Story and fun above all else

I’ve been playing with Tre as my DM for somewhere around 6-7 years. I’m pleased to say that he’s ruined my dnd experience because I’m now spoiled when it comes to DMs. I’ve watched him grow as a DM to become better at balancing gameplay with fun and story, and he’s good about allowing the “rule of cool” so long as it’s not outrageous. He’s crafted a custom world for us and puts a lot of time and effort into planning both the world and the story. His focus on story always makes the campaigns exciting to explore. He’s a DM who’s not fighting against the players, but he’s also not going to give you everything you want so you can have a power trip. To sum it up, he’s on the side of the story, and that’s the kind of DM I like.
A creative genius

Tre has never flinched at trying to make my most out there ideas happen. From simple, personal stories like an elf reclaiming his innate magic to a split-personality Minotaur and a dead gnome scientist reincarnated into a tree, I could always count on Tre to be creative, agile, and adept at coming up with how to make the insanity of our games work. We’ve been in games together for… eight years now?
I sincerely hope it never, ever stops.
