Rhodey

Rhodey has been such a great leader, facilitator, and overall incredible human to be in my son’s life. He runs the group with consistency, kindness, fairness, and a lot of fun and laughter. He makes sure than everyone is included and valued, and really prioritizes a safe space and a balanced group. My son is constantly retelling his adventures from group and always looks forward to going. He feels safe taking risks and feels comfortable to be himself and speak his mind. I have had the pleasure to witness a few sessions and see Rhodey in action and see him react to some potential conflict within the group. He’s handled the situations I’ve seen with ease and kindness and always makes sure that everyone feels supported and appreciated. I also love how well Rhodey communicates with me. He checks in after sessions, and genuinely thinks about how the members could have felt during the session. He’s thoughtful and understanding.

Thomas has helped my neurodivergent tween gain confidence and a deeper knowledge of dungeons and dragons. My son looks forward to sessions with Thomas and has for years. I’m so grateful for the safe space Thomas provides.

Rhodey is kind and patient with all new players. Personally, I have learned a lot from him in world building, inclusive gameplay (in person and online), and he is a model for how I would like to be seen as DM. Rodey can create a campaign for any size group or any skill level.

I joined as a complete beginner, and he helped me step by step how to create a character and taught me the basics of the game.

He has shown nothing but patience, kindness, and respect towards fellow players regardless of their background or level of experience. And in between sessions, he is easily reached via email.
