Gervasio Martins

Gervasio DMed a game I currently play in for a time and the sessions were amazing! Also with that particular campaign being my first time playing, he took the time to make sure I understood what I was doing while also making sure the story continued to go on without a hitch!

I’ve been playing with Gervasio in his game and he is such an incredibly fun, interesting, and engaging DM. I wanted to point out specifics, so here we go!

Storytelling: Gervasio spins an interesting and personal tale, with so much grandeur that can be felt, even when you’re just helping out the little guy. Everything feels like it matters in a way I have rarely seen in a game. Also, he always makes sure there is something personally related to someone’s story to latch onto. I don’t think I’ve been to a town that my character couldn’t find something to relate to.

The World: At least in the games I have played with him, he spends so much time and effort making sure the lore and the world are complex, and interesting. He manages so many spinning parts, and yet your actions really feel like they matter.

I absolutely, hands down reccomend Gervasio as a DM.

Gervasio is one of the best GMs I have ever played with. He is incredibly understanding and goes out of his way to ensure everyone enjoys the game, helping players craft characters they truly love and making sure they are involved in the campaign. His ability to adapt the story based on player choices is impressive, and his storytelling is creative both in and out of combat, keeping the game exciting and engaging. Outside of combat, his world-building is immersive, detailed, and full of life, creating a rich, vibrant setting. In combat, he designs encounters that play off characters’ strengths and weaknesses, ensuring that players have fun while still being challenged. Whether in longer campaigns or one-shots, my experiences with him have been outstanding, and I always look forward to each session. If you are looking for a GM who can run a fun, dynamic, and thrilling campaign, I highly recommend him for players of all kinds.

Gervasio is hands down the best GM I have ever played with! His world-building is incredibly rich and immersive, with each detail contributing to a vibrant, passionate setting. Even the one-shots maintain the same high quality, bringing fun and excitement to the whole group. I had played in a couple Dungeons and Dragons campaigns before meeting Gervasio. None of them made it beyond a few games. When I met Gervasio he inspired me to start a D&D event for the server I was running at the time and has spent the last three years helping me build the world we created for it. I have been privileged to witness his passion and dedication from both sides of the DM screen, helping him build our world and also playing in games he DMed. He is incredibly creative, knowledgeable, and fun. He is patient with his players and takes time with them one on one to assist with character creation and ensure that they are happy, prepared, and informed. This man singlehandedly turned D&D into an addiction for me and his inspiration and energy continuously feed that addiction. His historical games are packed with lovingly researched, academically accurate material that educate as well as entertain. If you’re looking for epic stories, immersive roleplay, and legendary combat, this is your DM.
